For charleston dance classes in Reading, hen parties and first dance choreography in 1920s style. Many of La Mort Subite's songs have a great rhythm to dance Charleston to.

    Los Dos Gringos

Two wandering Gringos walking a lonely dusty road, weary from the burning sun, clinging to a distant dream that one day they will be accepted as honorary Latinos by strumming their tired, beaten guitars in a Spanishy fashion.

    Global Cafe / RISC

One of our favourite haunts, where every 2 months we play our residency gig. Great beers, fine food, and wonderful staff.

    A la Mort Subite, Brussels

Once upon a time, three friends sat down in this amazing bar and formed the band "La Mort Subite". Go there, you will understand everything. Make sure you drink the lambic Gueze, this bar is the ONLY place in the world where you can get it on tap!

    The Green Man

Our drummer Edd's own solo project, well worth a listen. Here's what they say: "The Green Man expertly records various instruments on stage â€" including a saxophone, a flute, guitar and a cajón â€" gradually layering each sound to produce something veritably orchestral"

    Kronkika Republika Zaranska

All about a beautiful country that lies on the border of Hungary, Romania and Serbia. Zaránd is the president.

    Jamboree

A wonderful club in Cable Street, London, where we have our latest residency. Run by Rena, to whom we have a lot to thank! Recommended highly by the band.

    Hootananny Brixton

Voted Best Music Pub Great Britain 2010. We played a headline gig here to a full house!

    Brickwork Lizards

Fusing 200 years of music from the East and West into delicately crafted tunes, these guys supported us at the Global Café and at Cirque Subite. Check them out, they are well worth a listen!

    Zuleika

Zuleika performs regularly at Cirque Subite. She works primarily on Corde Lisse, embracing the strength of the vertical image to create dynamic and engaging aerial dance. Zuleika also trained in and performs on hoop, trapeze and silks.

    Acro Estupendo, Conlon and Hunt

Daft Antics are a group of street performers based in Sligo (North West Ireland) and Bristol (England). They performed to rapturous applause at Cirque Subite, engaging the audience with juggling, unicycling and acrobatics.

    Laienda

Combining the lively energy of Irish jigs and reels with that of Klezmer, Laienda create irresistably danceable tunes. Aswell as supporting each other at gigs, we are good friends!

    The Indian Marquee Company

The Indian Marquee Company supply the decor for Cirque Subite. If you need a colourful marquee for a special occasion, contact them!
